Ok So… Let me tell you a story here.¬† I had a XPS M1730 from dell and all I had to say was it was purdy… the performance I got from it was lack in every way possible… When I ordered this huge beast I bought the we cover all warranty and boy does Dell hold up to their customer service rants. My M1730 was used for mild gaming and work ect.ect.. it had the unfortunate fate of meeting my daughter… Darth Jadders! now the m1730 met a horrible fate (R.I.P. Alice… yea I named her Alice… SO WHAT! ūüėõ …and this is what I will refer to her as from her on out)

But! out of the death of Alice came Scarlett! Dell 100% satisfied me with this shiny new Alienware M17X this lappy has 2 1gb vid cards in SLI and a “hybrid” graphics card to save power (means it uses a 256mb card when not on power) I have tossed every game I can at this lill beast and she just eats them all up. Crysis on highest? pff no issues at all. I played the Aion Beta and had no issues there either on highest settings there either. So you may notice me reviewing PC games from time to time (more so then ps3 ones for a bit) So after stress testing this laptop with gaming I was looking at it trying to figure out what else I can do with it!?! Well kiddos lemme tell ya… I used the HDMI to connect Scarlett to mah HD projector and awwww yes… 107 inches of Section 8/Crysis/Left 4 Dead (reviews will come soon)

I have nothing bad to say about this rig at all… cept it still refuses to make me breakfast…and like… I’m hungry. this laptop allows you to color your keys in sections and can (if ya wanna) use facial recognition¬† yeaaa¬† all the¬† Alienware goodies you would expect from the name. If your looking for a desktop replacement and don’t want to lose performance look no farther then the M17X.

Well kiddies thats pretty much all I have to say about Scarlett. Dell really impressed me with this as I was expecting to get the same laptop back … like Alice 2.0 kinda but I am glad I didn’t. If you get anything from Dell I do suggest getting the complete care warranty as it is 100% worth it.¬†
