Enterprise is back! Sort of…

Take heart Trekkies, I feel your pain. While I wasn’t a huge fan of Enterprise, I am a fan of Trek as a whole. Not having Trek around is like not having a Santa Claus – it’s just not right. So here is some good news for all of us. We have full details on Enterprise – Season One.Beam up to check it out… Dropping into stores (not a lot of beaming on Enterprise) on May 3rd, Enterprise (wasn’t called Star Trek: Enterprise yet) will be available for about $100 – $120 depending upon what neck of the galaxy you live in. Included will be 7 discs containing all 26 episodes. In a turn of good but too-little-to-late news, Paramount will include special features that fans have been demanding for years like deleted scenes, outtakes, commentaries and more.Included –

  • Anamorphic Widescreen
  • Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0
  • Audio Commentary on the pilot Broken Bow by Producers (and Star Trek Killers) Rick Berman and Brannon Braga (Booooooooo!)
  • Text Commentary on Broken Bow by Michael Okuda and Denise Okuda
  • Deleted Scenes
  • OuttakesFeaturettes –
  • Creating Enterprise
  • O Captain! My Captain! A Profile of Scott Bakula
  • Cast Impressions: Season One
  • Inside Shuttlepod One
  • Star Trek Time Travel: Temporal Cold Wars and Beyond
  • Enterprise Secrets
  • Admiral Forrest Takes Center Stage There will likely also be an exclusive Best Buy disc included when the set is purchased there. Why couldn’t Paramount have included deleted scenes or outtakes with the other series? I tell ya, it’s enough to make a Trekkie as mad as a Klingon.
