In ‘how in the hell did I miss this?’ news….DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS will hit shelves THIS FRICKIN’ TUESDAY!!!The skateboarding Do*censored*entary will have an open matte full screen 1.33:1 transfer, and Dolby Digital 5.0 sound mix. Director and editor commentary, production notes, trailers, deleted scenes, weblinks and raw skate footage will all be included as extras. I must have been really high for the last 6 to 8 weeks, how in the hell did I miss this?

Miramax and MTV have announced that THE OSBOURNES first season will hit DVD in November. No details have been released as to tech specs or extras, but they are sure to be forthcoming…

The sleeper indie hit KISSING JESSICA STEIN will debut on September 17. The disc will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound as well as 2 commentary tracks, a featurette, deleted scenes, trailers and outtakes.

Move over Austin Powers! Get in line, Mr.Flint… Roman Coppola’s debut film CQ will make the scene this fall. The movie inside a movie plot concerns an aspiring director in 1969 Paris who is struggling to finish his swinging sexy superspy flick, while also dealing with his own troubled life. 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer, full-screen or letterbox, 5.1 DDS with English, French or Spanish subtitles. The voluminous extras include director and cinematographer commentaries, 9(!) featurettes, a music video by Mellow, still gallery, trailers and easter eggs. MGM delivers the goods on September 10.
