‘Revolutionary Road’ Gets Paved onto DVD and Blu-ray

One of the top movies of 2008 and based on Richard Yates’ highly celebrated novel is Revolutionary Road starring Leonard DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Rev. Road is paving its way to DVD and Blu-ray on June 2, 2009.  

Ben Button Gets Criterion Treatment on DVD and Blu-ray

In all my years of reporting on DVD and Blu-ray releases I cannot recollect a single film that received the Criterion treatment directly out of the theatre. That is until now. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is getting the Criterion treatment for its DVD and Blu-ray releases scheduled for May 5th.  

‘Licence to Kill’ and ‘The Man With The Golden Gun’ Sets Sight for Blu-ray

MGM continues to release its Bond catalogue on Blu-ray.  Up next on May 12, 2009 are Licence to Kill and The Man With The Golden Gun. It’s going to be an expensive may. Save some cash.

From Kirk to Lantern

Yesterday it was announced via Production Weekly’s on Twitter that there was some movement happening on DC’s Green Lantern and that filming would begin mid-September in Australia. Today there’s even more news about the front runner for the role of GL and it’s none other than Star Trek‘s Captain James T. Kirk, aka, Chris Pine.
